Alex Amen is a twenty-five year old artist and songwriter from Texas. After originally moving to California to study filmmaking, Alex spent time on the historic Dittman Family Commune, in southern California with his very first band, and later on Puget Sound in Washington state in relative isolation; taking up mycology, mountaineering, poetry and wooden boat building. As time went on, Alex felt the need to return to California to pursue music, leading him to self-produce his first unreleased record in a self-built studio at the historic Zorthian Ranch in Altadena, California. Alex now lives in Los Angeles, and is performing and releasing music among the growing folk, Americana and country scene in the city,
