ANNA VON HAUSSWOLFF
Anna von Hausswolff is a Gothenburg-born singer, pianist, organist, and composer known for her innovative work at the intersection of tradition and experimentation. With the organ and her voice as her primary instruments, she creates captivating soundscapes that have earned her international acclaim.
Her breakthrough album Ceremony (2012) and subsequent releases like Dead Magic (2018) and All Thoughts Fly (2020) showcase her ability to push musical boundaries. In August 2024, she premiered Atlas Song, a collaboration with choreographers Imre and Marne van Opstal, blending dance and live music in a groundbreaking performance. The music from Atlas Song will be released as an album in 2025.
Throughout her career, Anna has collaborated with renowned artists such as Wolves in the Throne Room, Swans, Sunn O))), and Yann Tiersen. She has also been nominated for a Guldbagge Award and composed music for films, theater, and prestigious events like the Nobel Banquet.
