Brodie Milner
Alt-indie pessimism from Northern England. Brodie Milner combines meta-modern lyricism with guitar-driven melodies, channelling influence from the likes of Jack White, Ben Howard, Big Thief, Fontaines D.C, and Bob Dylan.
His debut EP ‘tragicomedy’ received national praise for its darkly comic themes, bold sound, and intelligent commentary, garnering support from Gemma Bradley (BBC Radio 1), Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson (BBC Radio 6), Phil Taggart (formerly BBC Radio 1), Frank Skinner (Absolute Radio), and Alan Raw, Jericho Keys, and Emily Pilbeam (BBC Introducing).
A tour with The Coral followed, alongside headline shows across UK and Ireland. Other gigs include support slots with BC Camplight, Katy J Pearson, and Seafret, and festival appearances at Live at Leeds, Tramlines, and Stockton Calling.
