Fin Greenall, also known as Fink, is a genre-hopping artist whose journey began in 1980s Bristol, immersed in the city’s vibrant music scene of raves, pirate radio, and DJ culture. After signing to Ninja Tune in 1996, he juggled DJing, clubbing, and label jobs in London while experimenting with music that spanned from jungle to downtempo electronica. Eventually, burnout and a creative hunger led him to songwriting, where he found a new voice through stripped-back acoustic music influenced by artists like John Martyn and gigs that reignited his passion. This culminated in 2006’s Biscuits for Breakfast, where he abandoned electronics for a more raw, soulful sound.

Since then, Fink has built a steady, acclaimed career—releasing a string of albums, including the critically praised Perfect Darkness and Hard Believer, working with icons like John Legend, and earning accolades in both songwriting and sync. His music has featured in TV shows like True Detective and Better Call Saul, and he’s scored everything from video games to documentaries. After 30 years as an independent artist, he signed with Sony Music Publishing in 2023 and continues to evolve, with a new album Beauty In Your Wake due in 2024, recorded in a Cornish church and followed by an extensive tour.
