Re-TROS (Rebuilding the Rights of Statues) is one of the most iconic and internationally influential rock bands from China. Formed in 2003, the trio features Hua Dong (vocals, guitars, synthesizers), Liu Min (bass, vocals, synthesizers), and Huang Jin (drums, percussion).

Signed to Modern Sky, they released their debut EP CUT OFF! in 2005, now widely regarded as a Chinese post-punk classic. Their first full-length album, WATCH OUT! CLIMATE HAS CHANGED, FAT MUM RISES… (2009), further cemented their status in the scene. The global release of Before The Applause (2017) brought them wider international recognition, earning high praise from Q Magazine, The Quietus, and BBC Radio.

Known for their intense and dynamic live performances, Re-TROS has played major festivals including Summer Sonic, Bluedot, Mad Cool, and Pohoda Festival. They have also toured with Depeche Mode, Gang of Four, and The xx, solidifying their reputation as a powerful force in the global music scene.
