Sonic Reducer is a four-piece punk band from Canberra known for challenging the status quo and taking a stand against toxic masculinity in the Australian music scene. Formed by Cormac (vocals), Lachlan (drums), Ryleigh (guitar), and Louie (bass), the group has quickly gained attention in the punk scene. Their debut EP SKEWBALL (2024) received critical praise and airplay on Triple J, and their intense live shows have earned them a loyal, rapidly growing fan base. Nominated for “Independent Debut of the Year” at the MAMAs and with frontman Cormac winning “Best Live Voice” at the 2023 NLMAs, Sonic Reducer is making their mark.
